This session features the Australian Research Council Executive Director for Humanities and Creative Arts, Professor Joanne Tompkins, who will report on recent ARC funding trends of relevance to the digital humanities, with a focus on the Linkage Infrastructure and Equipment Fund.

The panel of experienced research leaders will discuss the imperatives and effectiveness of research infrastructure funding, focusing on some ARC funded digital research platforms and facilities of national and international significance.
