Corinna Di Niro

Corinna Di Niro is a lecturer in the School of Creative Industries, University of South Australia. She is leading a research project that aims to stronger align the media arts and performing arts students through creating theatre performances that use virtual reality to enhance the spectator experience. Her research, the Virtual Actor, experiments with latest VR technology to place an audience member in a live theatre show. Corinna completed her PhD in Commedia dell'Arte for a 21st century Australia context in 2016. Her latest publication highlights the challenges women in academia face, particularly as creative arts researchers.
