Enrique Aragon
As Underwater Archaeologist, I have been working with internationally recognised institutions of underwater archaeology, such as the “Institute of Nautical Archaeology” of Texas University or DRASSM (Underwater the Governmental Cultural Department of France) as a key examples. From 2010 until now, I have developing research activities at the Balearic Islands (Spain) as investigator and member associate at the IBEAM (Balearic Institute of Maritime Archaeology Studies). From 2016, I have been granted with FURS scholarship from Flinders University to accomplish my PhD degree, that I am currently developing, together in a cotutelle program with Cadiz University (Spain). My research fields of expertise cover: Historical commercial trading, Phoenicians in Western Mediterranean Sea, metal (production, trade and use), Harbour dynamics, Archaeological artefacts in underwater context, methodological survey in underwater context, Network archaeological analyses.
